Shifting has felt like this since I first drove off the lot. I figured I just had to get used to the tranny but now I'm thinking something is off. I have about 1600 miles on my type r.

WebNov 9, 2024 · Unfortunately, thats just the way this cable shifter is. Looks like you have already tried most of what you can. The only other suggestion I can give is try a heavier shift knob. That wont stop the notchy feel, but it should make it feel easier to get into gear.
