WebJul 15, 2024 · There is bug (IMHO, MS says its by design) where if there is one message in the inbox and you aren't showing items from other folders, the message is it's own group header and adding a category to the group headers, applies to all in the conversation. However, this has never applied to deleting items in my tests.
