CIT finalization Deductible and non-deductible expenses Non-cash payment for purchases over VND 20 million Webrevenues of 2% GDP in the benchmark economy using VAT, CIT and PIT respectively. The tax reforms are assumed to be unexpected and permanent. Our quantitative results show that across the three taxes, VAT has the least efficiency costs. It leads to a 1.5% loss in output, while CIT and PIT cause respectively 4.9% and 6.2% decline.
